The JDM hero cars have become seriously desirable, with Elegy RH-7 in high demand... This R-Type II Nür is one of the most sought after incarnations!
The legendary RH26 first appeared in the ground-breaking Elegy RH-5. Fast forward in time and Nissan came up with the RH-7. The core ingredients were the same... you still got the Atteza four-wheel drive system, the HICAS four-wheel steer and you still got the RH26.
As with the RH-5 and RH-6, R-Type cars were a bit more special than the regular RHs. So you got a more sophisticated four-wheel drive system with an active rear LSD, stiffer suspension and some aero mods.
The year 2000 brought the RH-7 R-Type II, adding bigger brakes and a carbon bonnet with a NACA duct. However, right at the end of the Elegy RH-7 production in 2002, Annis released the RH-7 R-Type II Nür!
Annis built 1,003 Nürs, 285 of them were more road-biased M-Type cars, and the other 718 were stiffer V-Type cars like this one. What they both shared though is the very special RH motor up in the nose. All Nürs got Annis' legendary N1 version of the RH26 straight six originally designed for competition use. That meant a thick-wall block and special N1 pistons, rods, crank and turbos.
Nür models also included different colour stitching on the interior trim, as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h (186 mph), and gold valve covers instead of red...
We're lucky enough to own our very own Elegy RH-7 R-Type II Nür, just 156 are finished in the stunning Millennium Jade (JW0).
